I’m introducing something completely different from a traditional custom painting.

You bring me something from your home, and I’ll turn it into something you never could have imagined. It might be a piece of fabric from a favorite chair. A scrap of wallpaper. A pillow. A textile from a room you love. Something old, something new, something sentimental—or simply something you can’t stop looking at.

You give me the inspiration, and let me take it from there. I don’t know exactly what the finished piece will look like when I begin, and that’s the magic!

I work intuitively, pulling colors, shapes, marks, textures and movement from your inspiration piece and translating them through watercolor, pencil, pen, oil pastel and whatever else the artwork seems to ask for. The result is an original abstract artwork created specifically for you and your home.

You don’t get to see it until it’s finished.

 

There are no revisions.
 

You’re trusting me—and the artwork—to reveal itself.

 

Your piece can even include a favorite phrase, meaningful quote, a music lyric or Bible verse, subtly woven into the composition. And when it’s finished, your original artwork will be professionally presented with a white double mat and natural wood frame, ready to hang.
